Excellent Set of Cold Cases
Being a big fan of the Cold Case Files show, I enjoyed this 2 disc set very much. Of the 10 cases that are featured, I only had a slight knowledge of 2. I'm used to seeing alot of cases that I'm already familiar with in some way so it was great to watch this set. All of the stories were very engrossing. If you're familiar with the TV series, you know that the stories are usually quite gripping and tragic. Generally there are actual crime scene and sometimes even autopsy photos shown. Definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the Cold Case TV show or any other type of forensic shows.

Gripping collection of true crime cases!
This DVD compilation puts together some of the most interesting, gruesome and gripping true crime cold cases in the US. All the cases are interesting, but some of the notable ones in this compilation are Killer in the Country [where a detective uses a DNA sample to convict a serial killer of three women], The Zodiac Killer [explores the mystery of the Zodiac killer and the role of DNA testing], Frozen in time [how human remains found in the freezer of a truck are traced to a missing woman from three years earlier, and leads a path to the killer], the Green River killer [about the notorious serial killings of women in the Green River area], and many more.

I liked the format of the show - begins with the background story of a particular case with actual photographs of the victim/s, eyewitness or family interviews, interviews with the detectives who worked/ are still working on the case and how they go about solving the cold cases.

This is a must-have collection for any true crime fan.

Cold Case Files
I got these for my son who is stationed in Qatar currently. He loves this set! He doesn't get much American TV there, so he enjoyed watching the American shows. I especially liked the shipping to APOs. A lot of sites don't offer it or they charge ridiculous amounts (Walmart) to ship to APOs when it should be like a domestic rate. I am very pleased with my purchase!

Another great true crime series
This will fit in well with your collection (if you have the others) of " Court TV: Forensic Files" and "Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege and Justice". The Cold Case files DVD discusses forensic methods as well as psychological methods of catching crimes over a certain number of years old.
