Great History Lesson
What a great production! From the moment it starts in 18th century Boston with John Adams defending the soldiers of the Boston Massacre I was mesmerized. The acting, the costumes, the sets were so extremely well done I felt like a voyeur in a tremendously realistic history lesson. For me, it was a real step back into one of the most important and fascinating times of our nation. I gave my copy to my mother who was equally intrigued and asked for a copy for Christmas. I wound up buying six dvd sets and giving them for gifts. Everyone that has seen them was as impressed as I. What more can I say!?

This movie is for all that maybe didn't enjoy their history class. I sure was that way and I learned so much in watching this movie. I recommend it highly and hope everyone gets to see it. We plan to watch it again and again. Wonderful acting on the part of John Adams and his wife. Please get this movie. You won't be disappointed and you will be so glad you did. Bev Steiner

BUY THIS MINISERIES!!! Paul Giamatti is awsome as John Adams. This miniseries is the greatest Hollywood produced civil war era cinema made to date. Its also very historically accurate so you can actually learn a little something.

very pleased
This series very made very well made. Pleasantly suprised. My whole family was able to enjoy these with the exception of having to fast forward two parts (just because of my extra small children). I would highly recommend this series for anyone wanted to get a look at John Adams and the world in his time.

John Adams
This is an outstanding series, very well researched. Acting was outstanding and they did an excellent casting of characters. I would highly recommend. I viewed the three discs on three separate nights but when I watch it again I'll probably do an all-nighter to keep the flow better.
